1 A brutal greeting from Colombian lands, Ricardo Bedoya writes the director of SCUMZINE MAGAZINE, How are things going in the band?

 

Greetings Ricardo, I'm Alex Pozo, happy to answer questions and very grateful to you and readers, things in the band are walking firmly.

Gabriel J.: we have released our first production with BRUTAL MIND, we currently have a unique and well-structured alignment which allows us to flow at the time of composing.

2 How was the band formed? Where does the name of the band CEFALOPHAGIA come from? And why that name for the band?

 

Alex P.: The band was formed 13 years ago, they were other members: Iván Fuentes (Infectology) was the first drummer, Francisco García (pleasure of mutilated) Second Guitar, Blitus Mena (verminous corpulence) Vocals, José Erazo (Infectology) Bass, Germán Vinueza (Seed of Hate) Bass. And my person (Gastrorrexis) Lead guitar, musical composition and lyrics... We played 2 years; we recorded a demo of 5 songs that came out only on Digital. My person named the band to dedicate me to other projects.

CEFALOPHAGIA means "devoured brains" we give a context that all existence is first mental and then physical; if a brain has a sick mind, the result will be "GORE reality." We live in a simulation, which is a function of individual and collective thoughts. A society corrupted by money only thinks of annihilating its opponent, creating a "GORE reality".En el 2020, se reactiva la banda con otros integrantes:

Gabriel Jordán (El Amo de las putas, high-level guitarist)

3 Let's talk about the new material that the band has, tell us about the name “DECODING EXISTENTIAL AGONY”? And how do you define this job?

 

Alex P.: The new album talks about decoding the existential concept and the root cause of social agony. We come to the conclusion that the system is run by religion. The system creates fears in society and keeps you mesmerized, while exploiting all your power. Your energy is used in many ways, and the system knows how to manipulate your work.

What I mean is that we live in an age of technology and pure slavery.

The power of the world is in the hands of few, I call them, the dark, beings who are not interested in money or power, but only the SUFFERING of a society, which includes human animals plants ... it includes a whole called "planet earth" and that in reality, that is, an experiment of the dark to obtain energy... let me explain; the suffering of a living being produces energy that is: stored and sold to other civilizations in other highly developed worlds. In other words, we are pets of other civilizations, we are slaves...

Gabriel J.: the composition of the songs was made at the end of 2020 in one of the high peaks of the pandemic, due to this the times were limited but thanks to the technical skills of each of the members it was successfully possible to get this production.

 

5 How do they get into the ranks of BRUTAL MIND? And why work with this label?

 

Alex P.: Brutal Mind, is a label that has already worked with Gastrorrexis, and then, a friendship has been created with Dany Lisain, owner of BM...

Gabriel J.: we presented a demo which was to the liking and gender expectations, it was thus we obtained a contract with BM to carry out this production, establishing delivery times, concept of the album and certain quality controls.

In addition, BM has a global reach and has a well-deserved recognition since it has bands that sound brutal ... BM is very sick …

 

6 Tell us about “EXTIRPACIÒN VISCERAL” and what was the response from the fans and the extreme press?

 

Alex P.: The lyrics of that work speak of the limits of the mind in terms of violence.

That was a Demo that came out only on Digital; at that time it was difficult for people to digest technical and fast rhythms, that was one of the reasons why we paused the band, since whenever we played people did not understand us ha haha we were making music of the future ha in a very dissonant and blind past hahaj ...

 

7 What is a CEFALOPHAGIA concert like? What promotional plans do you have for the CD? Tell us about shows?

 

Alex P.: The 2 years we played because the same as always, make new friends ... with the new lineup we still don't play live, we are planning releases in various parts nationally and internationally... looking for strategic alliances with bands and organizers...

 

8 Tell us about the video, “PSYCHEDELIC TORTURE”?

 

The video was produced by Mauricio R. bassist of the band. 

Talk about "reality" we detail the context that all this is a simulation; it is a function of pain.  In this case, alien technology is used to cause mental torture to a corrupt politician... Corruption is a virus, and life is an organic system that can be infected with viruses... psychedelic torture disinfects that body, cleanses the virus of corruption...

They must read the letters so that they understand all the implicit analogies.
