Brutal greeting, writes Ricardo Bedoya of the magazine SCUMZINE mag, How is everything going in the band?

 

Hello, first of all thank you very much for the interview Ricardo, in these parts everything very well, working hard on our new topics soon announcing news.

 

1 Let's start, talking about the live album "INCUBATION OF PERVERTED SOUL"

 

It is a compilation of several live shows that the band has had between 2007 and 2017, which shows different stages of the band both live and those who composed it.

 

2 Tell us about "VORTICE A LA MACABRO", what is your opinion about the final result of this work?

 

In general I am quite satisfied with what was achieved, in terms of what is the musical and editing work, we had great support from the American label Force Fed records without which this production would not have been possible to do it as it was done.  

 

3 How long did it take you to write? and record the album?

 

Writing it took quite some time, there are topics that are written from 2014 and some that took shape between 2015-2016, it took us almost all this time to edit and record it approximately.

 

4 How was the acceptance of the CD "VORTICE A LA MACABRO" by the press and the fans?

 

Vórtice has had very good acceptance and criticism, being an album very different from our previous work, we were surprised by the great support we have received, we have been able to play this live album in our last presentations and it has had very good acceptance by the public.

5 "VORTICE A LO MACABRO" What can you tell us about the cover art design? And how was the creation process?

 

The design was in charge of Rudi Gorging Suicide Art, the concept covers what was written for this album that basically has to do with a vortex where there is another dimensional plane.

 

 

6 Tell us about "PUTRID STENCH OF SCHOTIC ACTS"?, Recording and mixing process? And did you receive the response from the fans and the extreme press?

 

Putrid stench was our first album, we released it for the first time by Charred Remains Records, in 2009 and it was very well received, PSOPA is an album of brutal classic death metal, more rooted to the roots of the band and its beginnings and inspired by the death metal era of the 90's and its branches, this same one was again re-edited in 2014 by Rotten Cemetery Records with a new art and 3 bonus track live.

7 Tell us about "THE BEGINNING OF DEPRAVITY", how were things on sale of the CD? And how was the response from the fans and the extreme press?

 

The beginning of depravity is an EP of 4 songs that we released by Sevared Records in 2011, this consists of 3 tracks recorded from the putrid stench but with lyrics in Spanish and some adjustments in the themes and voices, we also included the "The concept of murder "our first work in 2006 as a bonus also remastered, this work had not yet been released on CD, so we thought it was a good chance to do it, it was very well accepted, the cover of this album was by Mike Majewski and the concept points to how everything came together with the band

8 The artwork of Mike Majewsky, in the second work with SIDJIMBE of Indonesia, and the work of RUDIGORGINSUICIDE, what is your opinion of these cover art? And your favorite?

 

We are quite satisfied with the artists and the work they have done for us, I think they have been very accurate in what we have requested and they have worked in a professional manner in all the cases mentioned. My Favourite is Vórtice

 

 

9 Who made the cover art of "INCUBATION OF PERVERTED SOUL"? and how to fuel the creation process?

 

The cover for this album was made by the artist "Raymond Art" the concept has to do with the 15-year career of the band "Incubating perverse souls" refers to the people who have followed and listened to us all these years.

 

 

10 talk about the shows, how are the concerts of the band? And any special trip?

 

Over the years we have already presented in several places, in our country we have been in several cities, we have played in several countries of South America and recently in the USA, for the next year we intend to make several dates abroad that will soon be announced to the As some of us have left this year for Chile that will be announced shortly, we have been more focused on finalizing our new topics more than anything else.

11 Tell us about Chile and their Brutal Death Metal scene?

 

Chile is a country that consists of a great scene and excellent bands of very good level in terms of metal. Within brutal death metal there are bands that we really enjoy that have a great level.

 

12 What do you know about the Colombian scene?

 

The Colombian scene is one of the most extreme scenes I've ever seen. When we were there we finished confirming it, not only because of the bands and their level that compose it, but because of the extreme and brutal nature of the audience, the reception of the people there is incredible, we hope to return soon in those places!

 

13 How do you perform the musical composition in DECREPIT CADAVER? And what is the theme of the band?

 

The themes of the albums have been changing over time, the composition of the issues goes through several phases, because we live in different cities, therefore we use models and several support instruments to be ready when we get together. 

 

14 Any video on the band's plans?

 

We had wanted to make a video but it has not been given the chance to do it, I think now for the next album something will be done.

 

15 Future plans, something you want to add

Hola, antes que todo muchas gracias por la entrevista Ricardo, por estos lados todo muy bien, trabajando arduamente en nuestro temas nuevos pronto anunciando novedades.

 

1 Iniciemos, hablando sobre el álbum en Vivo “INCUBATION OF PERVERTED SOUL”

 

Es una copilación de varios shows en vivo que ha tenido la banda entre el 2007 y 2017, el cuàl muestra diferentes etapas de la banda tanto en vivo como de quienes la componían. 

 

2 Cuéntanos sobre “VORTICE A LO MACABRO”, ¿Qué opinión tienes acerca del resultado final de este trabajo?

 

En general estoy bastante conforme con lo que se logró, en cuánto a lo que es el trabajo musical y de edición, tuvimos gran apoyo del sello americano Force Fed records sin el cuál quizás esta producción no hubiese sido posible hacerla como se hizo.

 

3 ¿Cuánto tiempo les llevo escribir? y ¿grabar el álbum?

 

Escribirlo tomó bastante tiempo, hay temas que están escritos del 2014 y algunos que tomaron forma entre el 2015-2016, nos tomó casi todo este tiempo editarlo y grabarlo aproximadamente.

¿Cómo ha sido la aceptación del CD “VORTICE A LO MACABRO” por parte de la prensa y los fans?

​

Vórtice ha tenido muy buena aceptación y críticas, siendo un álbum muy diferente a nuestros trabajos anteriores, nos sorprendió el gran apoyo que hemos recibido, hemos podido tocar este álbum live en nuestras últimas presentaciones y ha tenido muy buena aceptación por parte del público.

5 “VORTICE A LO MACABRO” ¿Qué nos puedes decir del diseño del cover art? Y ¿cómo fue el proceso de creación?

 

El diseño estuvo a cargo de Rudi Gorging Suicide Art , el concepto abarca lo que se escribió para este álbum que básicamente tiene que ver con un vórtice dónde existe otro plano dimensional.

 

 

6 Cuéntanos sobre “PUTRID STENCH OF SCHOTIC ACTS” ?, ¿proceso de grabación y mezcla? Y ¿recibió la respuesta de los fans y la prensa extrema?

​

Putrid stench fue nuestro primer álbum, lo sacamos la primera vez por Charred Remains Records,  en el 2009 y tuvo muy buena acogida, PSOPA es un álbum de brutal death metal clásico, mas arraigado a las raíces de la banda y sus inicios e inspirado en la era del death metal de los 90 y sus ramas, este mismo fue nuevamente re editado en el 2014 por Rotten Cemetery Records con un nuevo arte y 3 bonus track live.

 

7 Háblanos sobre “THE BEGINNING OF DEPRAVITY”, ¿Cómo estuvieron las cosas en venta del CD? Y ¿Cómo fue la respuesta de los fans y la prensa extrema?

The beginning Of Depravity es un EP de 4 temas que sacamos por Sevared Records en el 2011, este consta de 3 temas re grabados del putrid stench pero con lìricas en español y algunos ajustes en los temas y voces, además incluímos 

el “The concept of murder” nuestro primer trabajo del 2006 como bonus también remasterizado, dicho trabajo no se había editado aún en CD así que creímos que era una buena chance de hacerlo, tuvo muy buena aceptación, la portada de este disco estuvo a cargo de Mike Majewski y el concepto apunta a como todo conmenzó con la banda.

 

8 El artwork de Mike Majewsky, en el segundo trabajo con SIDJIMBE de Indonesia, y el trabajo de RUDIGORGINSUICIDE, ¿Cuál es tu opinión de estas cover art? Y ¿tu favorita?

​

Estamos bastante conformes con los artistas y los trabajos que han hecho para nosotros, creo que han sido bien asertivos en cuánto  a lo que les hemos solicitado y han trabajado de forma profesional en todos los casos mencionados. Mi favorito es Vórtice

 

 

9 ¿Quién realizó el cover art de “INCUBATION OF PERVERTED SOUL”? y ¿cómo fue el proceso de creación?

 

La portada para este disco la realizó el artista “Raymond Art” el concepto tiene que ver con los 15 años de carrera de la banda “Incubando almas perversas” se refiere a la gente que nos ha seguido y escuchado durante todos estos años.

 

10 háblanos de los shows, ¿Cómo son los conciertos de la banda? Y ¿algún viaje en especial?

 

Através de los años nos hemos ya presentado en varios lugares, en nuestro país hemos estado en varias ciudades, hemos tocado en varios países de sudamérica y hace poco en USA, para el pròximo año pretendemos hacer varias fechas en el extranjero que pronto serán anunciadas al igual que algunas que nos quedan este año para Chile que será anunciadas en breve, hemos estado mas enfocados en finiquitar nuestros temas nuevos mas que todo. 

 

11 háblanos de Chile y su escena de Brutal Death Metal?

 

Chile es un país que consta de una gran escena y de excelentes bandas de muy buen nivel en cuanto a metal. Dentro de brutal death metal hay bandas que disfrutamos mucho que poseen gran nivel.

12 ¿Qué sabes, acerca de la escena colombiana?

 

La escena colombiana se que es una de las escena s más extremas que he conocido. Cuándo estuvimos allá terminamos de confirmarlo, no solo por las bandas y su nivel que la componen si no por lo extremo y brutal del público, la acogida de la gente allá es increíble, esperamos pronto regresar por esos lados!

 

  

13 ¿Cómo realiza la composición musical en DECREPIT CADAVER? Y ¿Cuál es la temática de la banda?

​

Las temáticas de los discos han ido variando a través del tiempo, la composición de los temas pasa por varias fases, debido a que vivimos en diferentes ciudades, por ende usamos maquetas y varios instrumentos de apoyo para estar listos al momento de juntarnos. 

 

14 ¿Algún video en planes de la banda?

 

Hemos tenido ganas de hacer un video pero no se ha dado la chance para hacerlo, creo que ahora para el próximo disco se hará algo.

 

15 Planes futuros, algo que quieras agregar
