Hello, here Ricardo Bedoya, from SCUMZINE MAGAZINE WEB magazine. How is everything in the band? How was the band formed? And what is the story?
Hi Ricardo ,Batu is here ,thanks for having us ,everything fine so far ,we just released our second full length album’Unearthing the Void’ last month through New Standard Elite Records and trying to promote it in those shitty Covid times,normally we supposed to be on Europe Tour during May but this Virus ruined all our tour plans ,the story how we formed the band is back to 2016 ,we wanted to form a band with Emre which is about pure blasting and brutality ,he wrote some riffs and than Berk joined the band for drums ,and at the one of tour first rehearsal ,we were jamming on those riffs ,one of our friend filmed this rehearsal and uploaded it at youtube ,than we got 5 offers from 5 different labels around the world in same week ,so we decided to work for our debut album’Desolated Realms through Iniquity’with south Korean label Show No Mercy Records and signed our first album contract deal with them.
1 Tell us a bit about the new work “UNEARTHING THE VOID”
After the cool feedbacks from first debut album, we started to write new songs, Emre came up with his new ideas and songs than Berk added his drum parts on them and i made vocal pattern arrangements etc , all those writing process took about one year ,we signed with NSE Records and again entered the same studio’Deadhouse Studio’ in our hometown and recorded it.
2 “UNEARTHING THE VOID” How was the process of composing the songs in this work? And how was the recording process with OZAN YILDIRIM at DEADHOUSE studios? and what is the story
Emre is writing the songs and riffs ,before creating a song he's sending us his ideas and riffs to get our opinions on them and compositions etc ,later on Berk is planning and writing his drum parts ,at the end im planning and writing my vocal pattern arrangements on finished songs ,than we are entering studio to record them ,Ozan Yıldırım is like 4th member of the band ,we recorded also our debut album with him and he knows very well how our sound should be on album , he s the owner of the studio and recording & mixing & mastering engineer as well , he s doing all those processes ,we are deciding together with him which gear ,amps ,drum kit to use on recordings ,while testing each gear to get the best sound possible on albums ,later on mixing of the album tooks a lot time till everyone got satisfied with the final results ,we are working on it hard.
3 Tell us the acceptance of the fans and the extreme press for the new work?
Album is out since May and both from fans and press we got only good feedbacks till now ,we are very glad that people liked it ,tremendous huge amount of support from the fans worldwide till now for the new album.
4 What does the cover art of “UNEARTHING THE VOID”? And how was the process of creating Juanjo Castellano Rosado?
Juanjo created debut album artwork too and we wanted to work with him again for this new one ,incredible talented artist and we are huge fan of his works and art ,the unearthly landscapes and towers ,ruins from different worlds and dimensions on album art is all about our lyrical themes ,he knows our music and concept and he knows well we like detailed artworks as well and he came up with this masterpiece ,we decided some color arrangements and skecthes together with him ,and this masterpiece artwork borned ,he actually draw for us another artwork but we choosed this one at the end and very glad to worked with him again ,Cheers from here to Master Juanjo Castellano Rosado.
5 Tell us about the 2017 promo
Show No Mercy Records wanted from us to record one song promo before the debut album,and we recorded the song ‘Depths of Chaotic Existence’ drums and vocals recorded at Studio Midas and Guitars &Bass recorded at Deadhouse ,also mixing and mastering made by Ozan Yıldırım Deadhouse Studio ,we released it on digital platforms and youtube first ,feedbacks were great later on it released hand numbered 100 limited hardcopy by Lindung Prod Indonesia.
6 How were things with the press distribution with the previous album “DESOLATED REALMS THROUGH INIQUITY” and What is the response from the fans?
Desolated Realms released by Show No Mercy Records ,Darren the owner of the label trusted us and supported us as much as possible and made a great job ,its now sold out release ,we got great reviews and feedback for this debut from worldwide Brutal Death Metal fans and press as well,its really strong debut album in my opinion and some of the fans were suspicious that we cant beat it with the new album ‘Unearthing the Void’ but they did not dissapointed with the final result of the album ,both albums wellcomed by the fans with a great support and satisfaction ,that made us more than happy.
7 What can you tell us about "DESOLATED REALMS THROUGH INIQUITY" ?, Tell us about the CD recording and mixing process?
Its the same process like the last one ,writing process took abt a year ,and for recording and mixing again at Deadhouse studio by Ozan Yıldırım.
8 How do I compose in MOLESTED DIVINITY? Who are the main composers at MOLESTED DIVINITY? And what is the theme of the band?
Main Composer of the songs is Emre Üren ,hes writing all those riffs and compositions ,Berk is writing his own drum parts ,and i m writing my own vocal parts ,on recordings and some parts of the writing process we discuss and talk abt some small details together ,even on recording sessions some parts of the songs can change on last minute ,add on and revision of some riffs or vocal parts or changing any part of the drum patterns are possible.Themes are mostly Unholy Obscure voids ,visions and anti dogmatic chaos
9 How is the distribution of NEW STANDARD ELITE RECORDS? And how did they get into your ranks?
Awesome worldwide underground distribution network they have ,very supportive to their bands and most important they know very well Brutal Death Metal and whats it about,so far we are very happy to work with New Standard Elite Records ,they are doing great.last year 2019 they organized for Molested Divinity two weeks North America tour with the killer bands Cerebral Effusion ,Indecent Excision, and Depulsed ,we had great times and tour there ,after the first album NSE Records contacted with us and we like their offer we knew the label before too ,they have a lot of our fave Brutal Death Metal Bands in their label rooster and we choosed them.
10 Plans for an official video of the new job
We ll see about it in next months, bcs of the Covid situation we cant make such plans right now
11 What is your opinion of religions? And what is the concept of divinity for you?
I m personally not into any religion or beleif ,rest members of the bands also same ,so divinity has no meaning for us.
12 What is a MOLESTED DIVINITY concert like? And tell us about the tour of the United States by NEW STANDARD ELITE?
We have a blasting brutal fuckin live set ,we like play live shows as much as possible ,the crowd going nuts ,expect nothing but pure brutality,the Touring Usa was great experience for us ,we played small club shows and one festival show at Chicago Domination Festival last year ,all feeedbacks from fans and promoters were killer ,we spent a fucking cool two weeks there made a lot of new fans and friends ,cant wait to come back and play there ,also we are open for any serious Tour or Concert offers worldwide.
13 What do you know about the Colombian scene?
I know its blasting brutal scene ,you guys have a lot of brutal bands there and Colombia Abomination Death Fest ,we have a lot of brutal friends there ,hope to play there one day.
14 What are the differences from the first album “DESOLATED REALMS THROUGH INIQUITY” and “UNEARTHING THE VOID”, related to lyrics and music?
Lyrical concept mostly same as first album ,but musically to speak we are more faster on ‘Unearthing the Void’ also song writing is going more mature.

La agrupación de Turquía, nos comenta todo sobre sus dos trabajos el tour por Estados Unidos, además de su nueva relación con el sello discográfico NEW STANDARD ELITE RECORDS, el proceso de grabación, la creación de la nueva portada, su distribución musical y muchas cosas, lee y disfruta esta entrevista.
Hola, aquí Ricardo Bedoya, de la revista SCUMZINE MAGAZINE WEB. ¿Cómo va todo en la banda? ¿Cómo se formó la banda? y ¿cuál es la historia?
Hola Ricardo, Batu está aquí, gracias por invitarnos, todo está bien hasta ahora, acabamos de lanzar nuestro segundo álbum de larga duración 'UNEARTHING THE VOID' el mes pasado a través de New Standard Elite Records e intentamos promocionarlo en esos tiempos de mierda de Covid, normalmente nosotros se suponía que estaría en el Tour de Europa durante mayo, pero este Virus arruinó todos nuestros planes de gira, la historia de cómo formamos la banda es de 2016, queríamos formar una banda con Emre que trata sobre explosiones y brutalidad, escribió algunos riffs y que Berk se unió a la banda para la batería, y en el primer ensayo de la gira, estábamos tocando esos riffs, uno de nuestros amigos filmó este ensayo y lo subió a youtube, y obtuvimos 5 ofertas de 5 sellos diferentes en todo el mundo en esa misma semana, así que decidimos trabajar para nuestro álbum debut 'DESOLATED REALMS THROUGH INIQUITY' con el sello surcoreano Show No Mercy Records y firmamos nuestro primer contrato con ellos.
1 Cuéntanos un poco sobre el nuevo trabajo "UNEARTHING THE VOID"
Después de los comentarios geniales del primer álbum debut, comenzamos a escribir nuevas canciones, a Emre se le ocurrieron sus nuevas ideas y canciones que Berk agregó sus partes de batería e hice arreglos de patrones vocales, etc. Todo ese proceso de escritura tomó aproximadamente un año, firmamos con NSE Records y de nuevo ingresamos al mismo estudio 'Deadhouse Studio' en nuestra ciudad natal y lo grabamos.
2 “UNEARTHING THE VOID” ¿Cómo fue el proceso de componer los temas en este trabajo? Y ¿cómo fue el proceso de grabación con OZAN YILDIRIM en los estudios DEADHOUSE? y cuál es la historia
Emre está escribiendo las canciones y los riffs, antes de crear una canción, nos está enviando sus ideas y riffs para obtener nuestras opiniones sobre ellos y composiciones, etc., luego Berk está planeando y escribiendo sus partes de batería, al final estoy planeando y escribiendo mi patrón vocal. arreglos sobre canciones terminadas, de lo que estamos entrando al estudio para grabarlas, Ozan Yıldırım es como el cuarto miembro de la banda, grabamos también nuestro álbum debut con él y él sabe muy bien cómo debería ser nuestro sonido en el álbum, él es el dueño del estudio y el ingeniero de grabación y mezcla y masterización también, él está haciendo todos esos procesos, estamos decidiendo junto con él qué equipo, amplificadores, kit de batería usar en las grabaciones, mientras probamos cada equipo para obtener el mejor sonido posible en los álbumes, luego mezclamos El álbum tomó mucho tiempo hasta que todos quedaron satisfechos con los resultados finales, estamos trabajando duro.
3 ¿Cuéntanos la aceptación de los fans y la prensa extrema por el nuevo trabajo?
El álbum salió a la venta desde mayo y, tanto de los fanáticos como de la prensa, solo hemos recibido buenos comentarios hasta ahora, estamos muy contentos de que a la gente le haya gustado, gran cantidad de apoyo de los fanáticos de todo el mundo hasta ahora para el nuevo álbum.
4 ¿Qué significa la portada de "UNEARTHING THE VOID"? ¿Y cómo fue el proceso de creación de Juanjo Castellano Rosado?
Juanjo también creó la portada del álbum debut y queríamos trabajar con él nuevamente para este nuevo, increíble artista talentoso y somos grandes admiradores de sus obras y arte, los paisajes y torres sobrenaturales, las ruinas de diferentes mundos y dimensiones en la carátula del álbum, todo sobre nuestros temas líricos, él conoce nuestra música y concepto y sabe bien que también nos gustan las obras de arte detalladas y se le ocurrió esta obra maestra, decidimos algunos arreglos de colores y esqueletos junto con él, y esta obra maestra nació, realmente dibujó para nosotros. Nos dio otra obra de arte, pero elegimos esta al final y estamos muy contentos de volver a trabajar con él, saludos desde aquí al maestro Juanjo Castellano Rosado.
5 Cuéntanos sobre la promoción 2017
Show No Mercy Records quería que grabaremos una promoción de la canción antes del álbum debut, y grabamos la batería y la voz 'Depths of Chaotic Existence' grabadas en Studio Midas y Guitars & Bass grabadas en Deadhouse, también mezclando y masterizando por Ozan Yıldırım Deadhouse Studio, lo lanzamos en plataformas digitales y en YouTube primero, los comentarios fueron geniales más tarde, lanzó Lindcopy Prod Indonesia, una copia impresa limitada a mano numerada 100.
6 Cómo fueron las cosas con la distribución de la prensa con el álbum anterior “DESOLATED REALMS THROUGH INIQUITY” y ¿Cuál es la respuesta de los fanáticos?
Desolated Realms lanzado por Show No Mercy Records, Darren, el dueño del sello, confió en nosotros y nos apoyó lo más posible e hizo un gran trabajo, ahora está agotado, obtuvimos excelentes críticas y comentarios para este debut del Brutal Death Metal mundial fanáticos y prensa también, el álbum debut realmente, es fuerte en mi opinión y algunos de los fanáticos sospecharon que no podemos vencerlo con el nuevo álbum 'Unearthing the Void', pero no decepcionaron con el resultado final del álbum, ambos álbumes Bienvenida por parte de los fanáticos con un gran apoyo y satisfacción, eso nos hizo más que felices.
7 ¿Qué nos puedes decir sobre “DESOLATED REALMS THROUGH INIQUITY”?, ¿cuéntanos sobre el proceso de grabación y mezcla de CD?
Es el mismo proceso que el anterior, el proceso de escritura tomó alrededor de un año, y para grabar y mezclar nuevamente en el estudio Deadhouse de Ozan Yıldırım.
8 ¿Cómo hago la composición en MOLESTED DIVINITY? ¿Quiénes son los principales compositores en MOLESTED DIVINITY? Y ¿cuál es el tema de la banda?
El compositor principal de las canciones es Emre Üren, él está escribiendo todos esos riffs y composiciones, Berk está escribiendo sus propias partes de batería, y yo estoy escribiendo mis propias partes vocales, en grabaciones y algunas partes del proceso de escritura que discutimos y hablamos sobre algunos pequeños detalles juntos, incluso en sesiones de grabación, algunas partes de las canciones pueden cambiar en el último minuto, agregar y revisar algunos riffs o partes vocales o cambiar cualquier parte de los patrones de batería. Los temas son en su mayoría vacíos, visiones y caos anti dogmático.
9 ¿Cómo va la distribución de NEW STANDARD ELITE RECORDS? Y ¿Cómo ingresaron en sus filas?
Impresionante red mundial de distribución subterránea que tienen, muy solidaria con sus bandas y lo más importante es que conocen muy bien Brutal Death Metal y de qué se trata, hasta ahora estamos muy contentos de trabajar con New Standard Elite Records, lo están haciendo muy bien. El año pasado 2019 organizaron para Molested Divinity dos semanas de gira por América del Norte con las bandas asesinas Cerebral Effusion, Indecent Excision y Depulsed, tuvimos buenos momentos y gira allí, después del primer álbum que NSE Records contactó con nosotros y nos gustó su oferta. También, tienen muchas de nuestras bandas Brutal Death Metal favoritas en su gallo de etiquetas y las elegimos.
10 Planes para un video oficial del nuevo trabajo
Lo veremos en los próximos meses, debido a la situación de Covid, podemos hacer tales planes en este momento.
11 ¿Cuál es su opinión sobre las religiones? Y ¿cuál es el concepto de divinidad para ti?
Personalmente, no me gusta ninguna religión o creencia, los demás miembros de las bandas también son iguales, por lo que la divinidad no tiene sentido para nosotros.
12 ¿Cómo es un concierto de MOLESTED DIVINITY? Y ¿Cuéntanos sobre el tour por Estados Unidos realizado por NEW STANDARD ELITE?
Tenemos un increíble y brutal set en vivo, nos gusta tocar shows en vivo tanto como sea posible, la multitud se vuelve loca, no esperan nada más que pura brutalidad, Touring Usa fue una gran experiencia para nosotros, tocamos pequeños shows de clubes y un show de festival en Chicago Domination Festival el año pasado, todos los comentarios de los fanáticos y los promotores fueron asesinos, pasamos dos semanas geniales allí, hicimos muchos nuevos fanáticos y amigos, no puedo esperar para volver y tocar allí, también estamos abiertos para cualquier gira o concierto serio Ofertas en todo el mundo.
13 ¿Qué sabes sobre la escena Colombiana?
Sé que es una escena brutal explosiva, ustedes tienen muchas bandas brutales allí y Colombia Abomination Death Fest, tenemos muchos amigos brutales allí, esperamos tocar allí algún día. (Claro que sí)
14 ¿Cuáles son las diferencias del primer álbum “DESOLATED REALMS THROUGH INIQUITY” y “UNEARTHING THE VOID”, ¿relacionadas con letra y música?
Concepto lírico en su mayoría igual que el primer álbum, pero musicalmente para hablar somos más rápidos en ‘Unearthing the Void’ y la composición de las canciones se está volviendo más madura.
