SPIRITS WAY
SPIRITS WAY, is a group from Masovia-Poland, from DEATH METAL, which has an EP, two Full legenth, with riff characteristics, which add dark lugubrious arpeggios, some doom, aggressive and offensive riffs, mid-tempo, a extreme, chaotic, insane violence, who are about to release their new work, tell us about this, their historical tour of the band.
SPIRITS WAY, es una agrupación de Masovia- Bulgaria, de DEATH METAL, que tiene un EP, dos Full legenth, con una características de riffs, que agrega arpegios oscuros lúgubres, algo de doom, riffs agresivos y ofensivos, de medio tiempo, una violencia extrema, caótica, demencial, que están por editar su nuevo trabajo, nos hablan de este, su recorrido histórico de la banda.
1 A brutal greeting from Colombianlands, Ricardo Bedoya writes director of SCUMZINE MAGAZINE, How are things going in the band?
TOMASZ RADZIKOWSKI-
So far so good.! We're back after a break caused by my involvement in other bands and projects, during this time I had other commitments and I moved from Poland to London and our paths with the rest of the line-up parted ways... I don't know what the guys are doing now, as far as I know they don't make music. After I recorded and composed the album for Black Altar, it turned out that my cooperation with that project does not make sense for future and all the promises made by the leader are just his mirage. There's nothing bad that doesn't come for good because we teamed up with Shoun Black (Drums) who had the same experience with Black Altar and we started making music together for Spirits Way.
2 Tell us about the new album, what can you tell us?
T.R -we started the sessions in the studio in December 2022, since then we have been working on a new album, I am lucky that our new label does not put pressure on us and we can afford to refine all the details, we entered the studio with the intention of recording an album that will be a continuation of the previous one, but in in a very brutal form, a lot of work is still ahead of us, but I can already say that evil is born in these sounds.
3 Tell us about “DEVOID OF MORALITY” FROM 2015, how was it received by the fans and the extreme press? How were those recording days?
T.R the album you mentioned is very important to me, it's the album that gave me a pass to the next challenges, which resulted in many interesting proposals for me and for Spirits Way.
What can I say? Its great piece of album with which I had the pleasure of visiting many wonderful places on the occasion of concert tours, etc so far we are selling this album... I think it would be worth reissuing it
4 As you compare it with “BRAINLESS PUPPETS ARE ENSLAVED”, tell us a little about this album.
T.R - This is a completely different album from its successor, there is more space and music that works well for concerts, melodic choruses, etc
it was a great time, we promoted the album already on larger stages, usually opening concerts of older colleagues from much larger bands, we had the opportunity to share the stage with bands of which I am a big fan.
5 What is the musical evolution of the band?
T.R - Since the beginning of the band's existence, we have been creating death metal, but with each album I try to add something new, this is due to my development as a musician and artist, but also due to frequent line-up changes ... on each album I collaborated with other musicians.
Evolution in our case is very effective, each subsequent stage adds more skills and awareness ... let's call it musical maturity
6 How is the musical composition process of the new album ?
T.R As I mentioned, we are still working in the studio, so far we have finished rhythm guitars and drums in a few tracks.
In March 2023 we start recording solos and vocals, then bass guitar to finally send songs to invited guests about which we will inform soon
7 Tell us about the label TEUFELSZEUG RECORDS? And what can we expect?
T.R- So far all I can say is good things, we'll see what happen in the future. We got an offer to release a new album, all the negotiations went great, especially good contact in cooperation is important and they give us space and time to create our music.
The owners of the label are very kind people Manja and Marco do a good job and from what I can see there is a lot of passion in them which is the most important element for me

T.R-Time will tell ! Over the years I have learned to do more than talk.

9 Because so long to return to the band, what happened?
T.R Like I said, the reason for the hiatus was my commitment to other bands. But I'm back with Spirits Way again! and I'm very proud of it
10 What is the cover art artist going to do? What is he planning, what is the theme and message?
T.R - I think it's too early to talk about it ... the whole concept of this album is constantly evolving.

11Tell us about the death metal scene in Poland and what do you know about the scene in Colombia and South America?
T.R- I love our Polish bands and I'm glad that we have such great musicians.
I think we're still learning a lot, but we're at the forefront of metal music in the world.
Such bands as Behemoth, Vader, Decapitated, Hate... pave the way for younger Bands and promote Poland in the world.

1 Un saludo brutal desde tierras colombianas, escribe Ricardo Bedoya director de SCUMZINE MAGAZINE, ¿Cómo van las cosas en la banda?
TOMASZ RADZIKOWSKI-
Hasta ahora, todo bien! Volvemos después de un parón provocado por mi participación en otras bandas y proyectos, durante este tiempo tuve otros compromisos y me mudé de Polonia a Londres y nuestros caminos con el resto de la formación se separaron... No, No sé qué están haciendo los muchachos ahora, que yo sepa, no hacen música. Después de grabar y componer el álbum para Black Altar, resultó que mi cooperación con ese proyecto no tiene sentido para el futuro y todas las promesas hechas por el líder son solo su espejismo. No hay nada malo que no venga a bien porque nos asociamos con Shoun Black (batería) que tuvo la misma experiencia con Black Altar y empezamos a hacer música juntos para Spirits Way.
2 Cuéntanos sobre el nuevo álbum, ¿qué nos puedes decir?
T.R -Empezamos las sesiones en el estudio en diciembre de 2022, desde entonces hemos estado trabajando en un nuevo disco, tengo la suerte de que nuestro nuevo sello no nos presiona y podemos darnos el lujo de afinar todos los detalles, entramos en el estudio con la intención de grabar un disco que sea una continuación del anterior, pero de una forma muy brutal, aún queda mucho trabajo por delante, pero ya puedo decir que la maldad nace en estos sonidos.
3 Háblanos de “DEVOID OF MORALITY” DEL 2015, ¿cómo fue recibido por los fans y la prensa extrema? ¿Cómo fueron esos días de grabación?
T.R el disco que mencionaste es muy importante para mí, es el disco que me dio un pase a los próximos retos, lo que resultó en muchas propuestas interesantes para mí y para Spirits Way.
¿Qué puedo decir? Es una gran pieza de disco con el que tuve el placer de visitar muchos lugares maravillosos con motivo de giras de conciertos, etc. hasta ahora estamos vendiendo este disco... Creo que valdría la pena reeditarlo.
4 Como lo comparas con “BRAINLESS PUPPETS ARE ENSLAVED”, cuéntanos un poco sobre este disco.
T.R - Este es un álbum completamente diferente a su sucesor, hay más espacio y música que funciona bien para conciertos, coros melódicos, etc.
Fue un gran momento, promocionamos el álbum ya en escenarios más grandes, generalmente abriendo conciertos de colegas mayores de bandas mucho más grandes, tuvimos la oportunidad de compartir el escenario con bandas de las que soy un gran fan.
5 ¿Cuál es la evolución musical de la banda?
T.R - Desde el comienzo de la existencia de la banda, hemos estado creando death metal, pero con cada álbum trato de agregar algo nuevo, esto se debe a mi desarrollo como músico y artista, pero también debido a los frecuentes cambios de formación. .. En cada disco colaboré con otros músicos.
La evolución en nuestro caso es muy efectiva, cada etapa posterior suma más habilidades y conciencia… llamémosle madurez musical.
6 ¿Cómo es el proceso de composición musical del nuevo disco?
T.R Como mencioné, todavía estamos trabajando en el estudio, hasta ahora hemos terminado las guitarras rítmicas y la batería en algunas pistas.
En marzo de 2023 comenzamos a grabar solos y voces, luego bajo para finalmente enviar canciones a los invitados sobre las cuales informaremos próximamente.
7 Cuéntanos sobre el sello TEUFELSZEUG RECORDS? ¿Y qué podemos esperar?
T.R- Hasta ahora todo lo que puedo decir son cosas buenas, veremos qué sucede en el futuro. Recibimos una oferta para lanzar un nuevo álbum, todas las negociaciones fueron geniales, especialmente un buen contacto en cooperación es importante y nos dan espacio y tiempo para crear nuestra música.
Los propietarios de la etiqueta son personas muy amables Manja y Marco hacen un buen trabajo y por lo que puedo ver hay mucha pasión en ellos, que es el elemento más importante para mí.
8 Planes futuros, algunos videos oficiales y giras
T.R-¡El tiempo lo dirá! Con los años he aprendido a hacer más que hablar.
Tenemos grandes planes, la mayoría de ellos ya se están finalizando en este momento. Te lo contaré todo a su debido tiempo.
9 Porque tanto tiempo para volver a la banda, ¿qué pasó?
T.R Como dije, la razón de la pausa fue mi compromiso con otras bandas. ¡Pero estoy de vuelta con Spirits Way otra vez! y estoy muy orgulloso de ello
10 ¿Qué va a hacer el artista de la portada? ¿Qué está planeando, cuál es el tema y el mensaje?
T.R - Creo que es demasiado pronto para hablar de ello... todo el concepto de este disco está en constante evolución.
Estoy esperando el momento adecuado para compartirlo contigo.
11Cuéntanos sobre la escena death metal en Polonia y ¿qué sabes sobre la escena en Colombia y Sudamérica?
T.R- Me encantan nuestras bandas polacas y me alegro de que tengamos músicos tan buenos.
Creo que todavía estamos aprendiendo mucho, pero estamos a la vanguardia de la música metal en el mundo.
Bandas como BEHEMOTH, VADER, DECAPITATED, HATE... allanan el camino para bandas más jóvenes y promueven a Polonia en el mundo.
Sí, conozco algunas bandas MASACRE y THRESHOLD END
