DISPERSED The group from Belarus / Russia, is preparing to enter the BRUTAL DEATH METAL scene with a brutal album called “WHERE SILENCE REIGNS”, they are one of the new promises of the genre, with sharp guitar riffs and brutality on the drums .

A brutal greeting from Colombia South America, my name is Ricardo Bedoya editor of SCUMZINE MAGAZINE WEB, how is everything going in the band?
- Hey Ricardo! Thanks for your interest! Everything is going very well. We have a debut album called “Where Silence Reigns” to be released this spring on New Standard Elite Records, so we are very excited about what to come)
We started this interview with a Biography of the band, How was DISPERSED formed?
The band was formed in 2020 by Ruslan (guitars) and Sergey (vocals). We were friends for a very long time and finally it happened, that we created something together. Then we asked to take part in it, our drummer Vladislav, who is also drumming for Relics Of Humanity, other Sergey’s band. We recorded 2 tracks,later they were released as promo 2020 by NSE, and also became a reason why they signed us. Now we have full-length done. Probably thats all i can say
Tell us about the demo, how did the extreme press and fans receive it?
Yeah, looks like some people enjoyed it. We got a lot of good feedbacks, so glad someone need it. It keep us working
“WHERE SILENCE REIGNS” is the first album with the NEW STANDARD ELITE label, what can we expect Brutal Death Metal fans? And tell us about the new CD?
“Where Silence Reigns” is a conceptual record, contains of intro+8 songs. Saying about music, its really heavy brutal stuff that you already could find on our demo previously. As for lyrics, its about all the paranormal things. For example “Cold Chambers” is about rooms where a lot of people were punished and their souls are forever trapped there, thats why the chambers are eternally cold.
How was the composition process for DISPERSED? How much time did you spend writing and recording the album? How was the recording and mixing process? And how about the recording experience?
Riffs mostly were prepeared by Ruslan in last few years, then Sergey helped him to finish the compositions. Vocals and instruments were recorded in Minsk (Belarus) and Drums were recorded in Nizhniy Novgorod (Russia). Mixing and Mastering were done by Sergey at Vacuum Studios, where we recorded instruments previously. All the process took about 1 year to get the final result.
Tell us about the illustration by Maxwell Aston, what is your opinion on the cover? And how was the creation process?
We choose Maxwell Aston cause he was the one who is very fitting to concept we have. All his works are looks really creepy and paranormal. At the same time he is not too much used in brutal scene, so its also make the difference between our record and other albums that are coming out nowadays. We really enjoyed the work with him and probably will back to him one day. No doubt he is the illustrator that will become huge in next years!
How do you get into the ranks of NEW STANDARD ELITE?
We were friends with Daniel and Jose for few years, so we just sent the tracks them to check and got the chance to be part of NSE. We are really happy that they liked the stuff, and we are trully believe that its the best label to put this album out!
What is a DISPERSED concert like? Tell us about the band's shows? What bands have you shared the stage with? And what has been the best show?
We did not play any shows yet, man. Like it was said previously, we were formed in 2020, the year when shows are not possible to happen. But as soon as it would be possible we will try to play some show here or there
Tell us about shows, tours and what you have planned to promote the new work. And what metal festivals have you participated in?
Right now we cant plan anything.
What is your concept about the metal scene in Belarus? And how is the scene in that country?
In Belarus we have a bunch of really good extreme metal bands. And i hope it will keep growing. And i am saying not only brutal bands. But i must say we have no any strong festivals or labels here, that is very helpful for scene progress.
How did I get to present our guest vocalists, MARC (Darkall Slaves), Konni (Despondency) and Pawel (Ominous Scriptures), how was the recording process with them?
All these guys are our friends, so it was not a problem to contact them and we are glad that they had possobility to take part in. Marc did the job really fast, cause he had the home studio. Konni booked the mighty Soundlodge studios to record his part. And Pawel came to the studio where we were working and we recorded it together. We are completely enjoyed with their vocals, and it makes the album sounds even more brutal. Hope you ll like it
“WHERE SILENCE REIGNS” tell us about the theme of this work
LIke it was said, the album is about all the paranormal things around us. IN general “Where silence reigns” is about Realm for souls, where they are condemned to keep silence forever and every sound they make is punishable with pain, that they also need to suffer with silence. The artwork is also showing how souls are coming in. Also every song have some story inside.

Nothing special, just working on new music. But of course lets see what happens with new record, first.

2. Comenzamos esta entrevista con una biografía de la banda, ¿Cómo se formó DISPERSED?

“Where Silence Reigns” es un disco conceptual, contiene de intro + 8 canciones. Hablando de música, es algo realmente brutal y pesado que ya podías encontrar en nuestra demostración anteriormente. En cuanto a las letras, se trata de todas las cosas paranormales. Por ejemplo, “Cold Chambers” trata sobre habitaciones donde muchas personas fueron castigadas y sus almas quedaron atrapadas allí para siempre, por eso las cámaras son eternamente frías.
5. ¿Cómo fue el proceso de composición de DISPERSED? ¿Cuánto tiempo pasaste escribiendo y grabando el álbum? ¿Cómo fue el proceso de grabación y mezcla? ¿Y qué hay de la experiencia de grabación?
La mayoría de los riffs fueron preparados por Ruslan en los últimos años, luego Sergey lo ayudó a terminar las composiciones. Se grabaron voces e instrumentos en Minsk (Bielorrusia) y Tambores se grabaron en Nizhniy Novgorod (Rusia). La mezcla y la masterización fueron realizadas por Sergey en Vacuum Studios, donde grabamos instrumentos anteriormente. Todo el proceso tomó alrededor de 1 año para obtener el resultado final.
6. Cuéntanos sobre la ilustración de Maxwell Aston, ¿qué opinas de la portada? ¿Y cómo fue el proceso de creación?
Elegimos a Maxwell Aston porque él era el que encajaba muy bien con el concepto que tenemos. Todas sus obras tienen un aspecto realmente espeluznante y paranormal. Al mismo tiempo, no es demasiado usado en la escena brutal, por lo que también marca la diferencia entre nuestro disco y otros álbumes que están saliendo hoy en día. Realmente disfrutamos el trabajo con él y probablemente algún día volveremos con él. ¡Sin duda es el ilustrador que se hará enorme en los próximos años!
7. ¿Cómo se ingresa en las filas de NEW STANDARD ELITE?
Fuimos amigos de Daniel y José durante algunos años, así que les enviamos las pistas para que las revisaran y tuvimos la oportunidad de ser parte de NSE. Estamos muy contentos de que les haya gustado el material, ¡y realmente creemos que es el mejor sello para sacar este álbum!
8. ¿Cómo es un concierto DISPERSED? ¿Cuéntanos sobre los shows de la banda? ¿Con qué bandas has compartido escenario? ¿Y cuál ha sido el mejor espectáculo?
Todavía no tocamos en ningún programa, hombre. Como se dijo anteriormente, nos formamos en 2020, el año en que no es posible que ocurran espectáculos. Pero tan pronto como sea posible, intentaremos tocar algún espectáculo aquí o allá.
9. Cuéntanos sobre espectáculos, giras y lo que tienes planeado para promocionar el nuevo trabajo. ¿Y en qué festivales de metal has participado?
Ahora mismo no podemos planear nada.
10. ¿Cuál es su concepto sobre la escena del metal en Bielorrusia? ¿Y cómo está el panorama en ese país?
En Bielorrusia tenemos un montón de bandas de metal extremo realmente buenas. Y espero que siga creciendo. Y digo no solo bandas brutales. Pero debo decir que no tenemos festivales o etiquetas fuertes aquí, eso es muy útil para el progreso de la escena.
11. ¿Cómo llegué a presentar a nuestros vocalistas invitados, MARC (Darkall Slaves), Konni (Despondency) y Pawel (Ominous Scriptures), cómo fue el proceso de grabación con ellos?
Todos estos chicos son nuestros amigos, así que no fue un problema contactarlos y estamos contentos de que tuvieran la posibilidad de participar. Marc hizo el trabajo muy rápido, porque tenía el estudio en casa. Konni contrató a los poderosos estudios Soundlodge para grabar su parte. Y Pawel vino al estudio donde estábamos trabajando y lo grabamos juntos. Disfrutamos completamente con sus voces y hace que el álbum suene aún más brutal. Espero que te guste.
12. “DONDE REINA EL SILENCIO” cuéntenos sobre el tema de este trabajo
Como se dijo, el álbum trata sobre todas las cosas paranormales que nos rodean. EN GENERAL “Donde reina el silencio” se trata de Reino para las almas, donde están condenadas a guardar silencio para siempre y cada sonido que hacen es castigado con dolor, que también necesitan sufrir con silencio. La obra de arte también muestra cómo están entrando las almas. Además, cada canción tiene una historia dentro.
13. Planes futuros, algunos videos
Nada especial, solo estoy trabajando en nueva música. Pero, por supuesto, veamos primero qué pasa con el nuevo registro.
