Here Ricardo Bedoya SUMZINE magazine, How's it going in the band?
Hi Ricardo, I'm Lorenzo, vocals of Natrium. Everything is going fine, just writing new stuff and planning some gigs to promote the new album
1 - How do you form the band? And where does the name?
The band was formed by De Muro brothers back in 2001. The band started playing Thrash - Death Metal, after different lineup changes the style evolved to a Death Metal with some brutal influences. Andrea De Muro is a chemist so he choose Natrium as name for the band, natrium is a metal tha can be explosive
2-I think it's good to start this interview talking about the new album "VERTIGO OF ABJECTION" What do you think about the end result of this work?
We are very proud of the final result. Even if it comes 6 years after Elegy for the flesh, the time we had to work with it was very, very short. We overcome a lot of difficulties, but in the end every rehearsal was precious and every minute thet we passed together can't be wasted. We used another approach at composing with new influences
3- What is the meaning contained Album title?
Vertigo is the feeling of dizziness when you reach a peak very high. But in this case the peak is of abjection. If you look at the artwork, people is try to climb, to arrive first, is ready to kill the other to success
4 What was it like working with Marco Mastrobuono?, How long have you writing and recording the album?
Marco liked our idea of sound old school with a touch of modern and did a great job mixing and mastering. We recorded everything in our rehearsal room. As I said before the writing process lasted 6 years but with long interruptions.
5 Are you comfortable with the work of DAEMORPH?
He is magic. When I saw the first sketch and the final artwork I had the feeling he read my mind.
6 How was the response of your previous CDs "THE DAY OF PAIN" and "ELEGY FOR THE FLESH"?
I wasn't in the band at the time of “The day of pain” but I can say that the response was good. “Elegy for the flesh” receive great reviews and amazing support from fans of Death Metal. We where surprised and shocked of how people from every corner of the world was enthusiastic about it.
7 how long it took to get the contrac with ULTIMATED MASSACRE PRODUCTIONS?
Not so long, we had different offers but their was better and we already know UMP for previous releases the we like very much.
8 What are the nearest plans to support the new job?, Any video?
At the moment we are planning to play live. We miss the stage, the crowd. We will release a lyric video of the titletrack soon.
9 How do you see the DEATH METAL,BRUTAL DEATH METAL and GRIND CORE scene in Italy and Europe?
There are amazing bands that the we respect and that make us proud to be italians and europeans, just to name a few: Hour of penance, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Devangelic, Blasphemer, Vomit the soul, Hideous Divinity from Italy, Wormed from Spain, the list is so long
10 Of which speak the themes of "VERTIGO OF ABJECTION"
The concept is about the man as a machine, modern slavery, exploitation
11 Tell us about the festivals, concert and some brutal experience?
It's something that we like to do. I mean, write and recording is something great but you know, playing live is something amazing. We have great memories from Tattoo Death Fest in Milan and Malta Death Fest, we had an amazing experience playing around UK
12 What is the scene CAGLIARI?
Not only in Cagliari but there are good bands from all the Sardinia.

Aquí la revista Ricardo Bedoya SCUMZINE, ¿Cómo te va en la banda?
Hola Ricardo, soy Lorenzo, voz de Natrium. Todo va bien, solo escribiendo cosas nuevas y planificando algunos conciertos para promocionar el nuevo álbum.
1 - ¿Cómo se forma la banda? ¿Y de dónde viene el nombre?
La banda fue formada por los hermanos De Muro en 2001. La banda comenzó a tocar Thrash - Death Metal, después de que diferentes cambios en la alineación, el estilo evolucionó a Death Metal con algunas influencias brutales. Andrea De Muro es químico, por lo que elige a Natrium como el nombre de la banda, Natrium es un metal que puede ser explosivo.
2-Creo que es bueno comenzar esta entrevista hablando sobre el nuevo álbum "VERTIGO OF ABJECTION" ¿Qué piensas sobre el resultado final de este trabajo?
Estamos muy orgullosos del resultado final. Incluso si se trata de 6 años después de Elegy para la carne, el tiempo con el que tuvimos que trabajar fue muy, muy corto. Superamos muchas dificultades, pero al final cada ensayo fue precioso y cada minuto que pasamos juntos no puede desperdiciarse. Utilizamos otro enfoque en la composición con nuevas influencias.
3- ¿Cuál es el significado que contiene el título del álbum?
El vértigo es la sensación de mareo cuando se alcanza un pico muy alto. Pero en este caso el pico es de abyección. Si miras la obra de arte, la gente trata de escalar, de llegar primero, está lista para matar al otro para el éxito.
4 ¿Cómo fue trabajar con Marco Mastrobuono? ¿Cuánto tiempo llevas escribiendo y grabando el álbum?
A Marco le gustó nuestra idea de la vieja escuela con un toque de modernidad e hizo un gran trabajo mezclando y masterizando. Grabamos todo en nuestra sala de ensayo. Como dije antes, el proceso de escritura duró 6 años pero con largas interrupciones.
5 ¿Te sientes cómodo con el trabajo de DAEMORPH?
Él es mágico Cuando vi el primer boceto y la obra de arte final tuve la sensación de que leyó mi mente.
6 ¿Cómo fue la respuesta de tus CD anteriores "EL DÍA DEL DOLOR" y "ELEGÍA PARA LA CARNE"?
No estaba en la banda en el momento de "El día del dolor", pero puedo decir que la respuesta fue buena. “Elegy for the flesh” recibe excelentes críticas y un increíble apoyo de los fanáticos de Death Metal. Nos sorprendió y nos sorprendió ver cómo la gente de todos los rincones del mundo estaba entusiasmada con eso.
7 ¿cuánto tiempo llevó obtener el contrato con ULTIMATED MASSACRE PRODUCTIONS?
No hace mucho, teníamos ofertas diferentes, pero su oferta era mejor y ya conocemos UMP de versiones anteriores que nos gustan mucho.
8 ¿Cuáles son los planes más cercanos para apoyar el nuevo trabajo? ¿Algún video?
Por el momento estamos planeando tocar en vivo. Extrañamos el escenario, la multitud. Lanzaremos un video lírico del titletrack pronto.
9 ¿Cómo ve la escena DEATH METAL, BRUTAL DEATH METAL y GRIND CORE en Italia y Europa?
Hay bandas increíbles que respetamos y que nos enorgullecen de ser italianos y europeos, solo por nombrar algunos: Hora de la penitencia, Fleshgod Apocalipsis, Devangelic, Blasphemer, Vomit the soul, Hideous Divinity from Italy, Wormed from Spain, la lista es tan larga

El concepto es sobre el hombre como máquina, esclavitud moderna, explotación.
11 ¿Cuéntanos sobre los festivales, conciertos y alguna experiencia brutal?
Es algo que nos gusta hacer. Quiero decir, escribir y grabar es algo bueno, pero ya sabes, tocar en vivo es algo increíble. Tenemos grandes recuerdos del Tattoo Death Fest en Milán y Malta Death Fest, tuvimos una experiencia increíble jugando en el Reino Unido.
12 ¿Qué es la escena CAGLIARI?
No solo en Cagliari sino que hay buenas bandas de toda Cerdeña.
