Hey Ricardo, all good here working hard for this 2018! , how about you?
2 How do I build RCR? What motivates it to support the World scene?
RCR was born from a distro that I started a couple of years ago called "Cemetery Musick" as I always bought a lot of material, I knew and had contacts with several labels, until I decided from one moment to another to start giving a little more and supporting producing emerging bands , I realized that although it is true there were many stamps in that time, (maybe not as many as now) but very few of the genre, that is the decision
3 What are your requirements to sign a band at the label?
Only be committed to what they do and mainly BRUTAL.
4 Which countries have registration of distribution?

5 What bands would you like to sign at the label?
We would like to sign each band that is interested in working with us, that meets the requirement of question number 3.
6 What is it like working on an independent label? And what is your opinion of the big stamps?
Working as an independent label is difficult and demanding, working alone or with small teams and tight budgets is complex, I think it's something that one really does for pleasure rather than personal development or work, in my opinion, is the difference between the seals independent and the largest in addition to the distribution coverage. The big seal is more interested in selling and exposing its products to the market in that way, the smaller ones, on the other hand, are more interested in the bands being known everywhere, for the same reason "the trade" is very common as a method of distribution.
7 How do you observe digital devices, MP3 and other programs, and what is your opinion of music today?
I think that in spite of the deferred and negative opinions of the digital format nowadays it helps in some way to the promotion of the band. The times are not the same as before, we are facing an information society and everything is related to technology nowadays, so I think it is a good dissemination tool, although the physical format must always be maintained, I think it is very important to acquire it that way if you really enjoy a particular band or album.
8 Rotten Cemetary Records ... I think one of the motors or pillars of the undergraund scene is the sense of community of constant collaboration between the labels, fanzines, bands and halls; everything is as beautiful as it seems, or there is still much to do, to build the different scenes
I think you always find yourself with different situations, there are people who support and people who do not, people who are going to try to muddy you and others help, the same thing happens with some stamps, I have had the good fortune to work with great people and establish relationships with business and even friendship in some cases with some labels and bands working in this area, it is a lottery. You always have to work as in everything so that things go well.
9 Let's talk about the bands you have and are about to go to scene DEAD CENTER, INHUMAN, AMPUTATED GENITALS, GANGRENOUS, VEHEMENTER, DEFLESHED AND GUTTED, DECREPIT CADAVER, PEDOPHAGY, TO FEED OF FLESH, HORROR PARADISE, SUPREME GORE, DELIVATESSEN, IN DEMONI AND BATAKAZZO, among other groups, what can you tell us about each of the aforementioned?
Can I tell you that they are bands released by Rotten Cemetery Records? : D hehehej good some of them have been released under our new sub label called Putrid Tomb Records, which is more focused on working with bands grindcore, goregrind, classic death etc. All the brutal death metal will mostly be worked by RCR, except for some editions. Basically both stamps have the same distribution and production only different approach. As for the bands that you mention to me, they are bands that have worked directly with RCR and PTR (Batakazzo) over the years, which we have enjoyed as followers of them that we are. DEAD CENTER is an old school brutal death band from Florida USA which we released with Force Fed Records as well as Vehementer, who you know are from your brutal Country, DEFLESHED AND GUTTED from the USA was one of our first editions, project wque today took shape and already have to his credit 2 albums after this, DECREPIT CADAVER brutal death metal from Chile, we have edited several of his productions in the past, PEDOFAGIA old school death metal band our second edition by RCR now dissolved, INHUMANO, Brutal death metal the fourth band that RCR edited, now called WASTE OF HUMANITY, this year finishing recording their new album, TO FEED OF FLESH slamming brutal death from Italy, they are recording a new album, now we are in conversations about that, SUPREME GORE DELICATESSEN is a grindcore band from the city of Valparaíso, Chile, which we edited in 2014, IN DEMONI from Germany we have already released two produc theirs an EP and recently their last album that is one of our last editions, and BATAKAZZO is a goregrind band from Copiapó, Chile, debut by PTR they are already recording their new album, in this band the drummer of DECREPIT CADAVER.
10 What future projects do you have under the seal in the coming years?
Continue to grow as a label, edit new formats and work with different bands around the world
11 How do you see the worldwide scene of DEATH METAL, BRUTAL AND GRINCORE today?
The world scene grows more and more every day and it is the motivation for the emerging bands in Chile, there are many bands, little support that is why we are working now, to improve our positioning worldwide.
12 What do you think is the strongest scene in the world?
In my opinion I think the force of the scene is made by the bands, today there are many "strong" bands that contribute to keep this pillar on its feet, I think everyone contributes to something, I could not tell you that with certainty.
13 Future plans for the ROTTEN CEMETARY RECORDS
As I have mentioned you in question number 10 our plans are to keep growing as a stamp, edit new formats and work with different bands around the world

1 Cómo van las cosas con ROTTEN CEMETERY RECORDS
Hola Ricardo, todo bien trabajando arduamente para este 2018 ¿Tù que tal?
Bien.
2 ¿Cómo construyo a RCR?, ¿Qué lo motivo apoyar la escena Mundial?
RCR nació de un distro que inicié hace un par de años llamado “Cemetery Musick” como siempre compraba mucho material, conocía y tenía contactos con varios sellos, hasta que decidí de un momento a otro empezar a dar un poco más y apoyar produciendo bandas emergentes, me di cuenta que si bien es cierto había muchos sellos en ese tiempo, (quizás no tantos como ahora) pero muy pocos del género, he ahí la decisión
3 ¿Qué requisitos tienes para fichar una banda en la disquera?
Solamente que sea comprometida en lo que hacen y principalmente BRUTAL.
4 ¿Qué países tienen registro de distribución?

5 ¿Qué bandas le gustaría fichar en la disquera?
Nos gustaría fichar cada banda que está interesada en trabajar con nosotros, que cumpla con el requerimiento de la pregunta número 3.
6 ¿Cómo es trabajar en un sello independiente? Y ¿Cuál es tu opinión de los sellos grandes?
Trabajar como sello independiente es difícil y demandante, trabajar solo o con equipos pequeños y presupuestos ajustados es complejo, creo que es algo que uno realmente hace por placer más que por desarrollo personal o laboral, según mi parecer, es la gran diferencia entre los sellos independientes y los más grandes además de la cobertura de distribución. Al sello grande más le interesa vender y exponer sus productos al mercado de esa manera, a nosotros los más pequeños en cambio nos interesa más que las bandas se conozcan en todos lados, por el mismo motivo es muy común “el trade” como método de distribución.
7 ¿Cómo observas los dispositivos digitales, MP3 y demás programas?, y ¿Cuál es tu opinión de la música hoy en día?
Creo que a pesar de las diferidas y negativas opiniones del formato digital hoy en día en cierto modo ayuda a la promoción de la banda. Los tiempos ya no son los mismos de antes, estamos frente a una sociedad de la información y todo se relaciona con la tecnología hoy en día así que creo que es una buena herramienta de difusión, aunque siempre debe mantenerse el formato físico, creo que es muy importante adquirirlo de esa forma si es que disfrutas mucho de alguna banda o disco en especial.
8 Rotten Cemetary Records … Creo que uno de los motores o pilares de la escena undergraund es el sentimiento de comunidad de constante colaboración entre los sellos, fanzines, bandas y salas; todo es tan bonito como parece, o aún queda mucho por hacer, por construir las diferentes escenas
Creo que siempre te encuentras con diferentes situaciones, hay gente que apoya y gente que no, personas que te van a tratar de enlodar y otras ayudar, lo mismo pasa con algunos sellos, he tenido la suerte de trabajar con grandes personas y entablar relaciones de negocios e incluso de amistad en algunos casos con algunos sellos y bandas trabajando en este rubro, es una lotería. Siempre hay que trabajar como en todo para que las cosas salgan bien.
9 Hablemos de las bandas que tienes y están por salir a escena DEAD CENTRE, INHUMANO, AMPUTATED GENITALS, GANGRENOUS, VEHEMENTER, DEFLESHED AND GUTTED, DECREPIT CADAVER, PEDOFAGIA, TO FEED OF FLESH, HORROR PARADISE, SUPREME GORE, DELIVATESSEN, IN DEMONI Y BATAKAZZO, entre otros grupos, ¿Qué nos puedes decir con respecto a cada uno de los citados?
Te puedo decir que son bandas editadas por Rotten Cemetery Records? : D jejejej bueno algunas de ellas han sido editadas bajo nuestra nueva sub label llamada Putrid Tomb Records, la cual está más enfocada a trabajar con bandas grindcore, goregrind, death clásico etc. Todo el brutal death metal en su mayoría será trabajado por RCR, salvo algunas ediciones. Básicamente ambos sellos cuentan con la misma distribución y producción solo diferente enfoque. En cuanto a las bandas que me mencionas, son bandas que han trabajado directamente con RCR y PTR (Batakazzo) a través de los años, las cuales hemos disfrutado como seguidores de ellas que somos. DEAD CENTRE es una banda de old school brutal death proveniente de Florida USA la cuál editamos con Force Fed Records al igual que Vehementer, quienes ya sabes que son de tu brutal País, DEFLESHED AND GUTTED de USA fue una de nuestras primeras ediciones, proyecto wque hoy en día tomó forma y ya tienen a su haber 2 discos posteriores a este, DECREPIT CADAVER brutal death metal de Chile, hemos editado varias de sus producciones en el pasado, PEDOFAGIA banda de old school death metal nuestra segunda edición por RCR ahora disueltos, INHUMANO, Brutal death metal la cuarta banda que editó RCR,ahora llamados WASTE OF HUMANITY, este año terminando de grabar su nuevo disco, TO FEED OF FLESH slamming brutal death desde Italia, están grabando un nuevo disco, ahora estamos en conversaciones sobre eso, SUPREME GORE DELICATESSEN es una banda de grindcore proveniente de la ciudad de Valparaíso, Chile, quienes editamos en el 2014, IN DEMONI de Alemania hemos ya a la fecha editado dos producciones de ellos un EP y hace poco su útimo disco que es una de nuestras últimas ediciones, y BATAKAZZO es una banda de goregrind proveniente de Copiapó, Chile, debut por PTR están ya grabando su nuevo disco, en esta banda toca el baterista de DECREPIT CADAVER.
10 ¿Qué futuros proyectos tienes bajo el sello, en los próximos años?
Seguir creciendo como sello, editar nuevos formatos y trabajar con diferentes bandas alrededor del mundo
11 ¿Cómo observa la escena a nivel mundial de DEATH METAL, BRUTAL Y GRINCORE hoy en día?
La escena mundial cada día crece más y más así mismo es la motivación para las bandas emergentes en Chile, hay muchas bandas, poco apoyo por eso estamos trabajando ahora, para mejorar nuestro posicionamiento a nivel mundial
12 ¿Cuál cree usted que es la escena más fuerte del mundo?
A mi parecer creo que la fuerza de la escena la hacen las bandas, hoy en día hay muchas bandas “fuertes” que aportan a mantener este pilar en pie, creo que todos aportan en algo, no sabría decirte eso con certeza.
13 Planes futuros para el sello
Como te había mencionado en la pregunta número 10 nuestros planes son seguir creciendo como sello, editar nuevos formatos y trabajar con diferentes bandas alrededor del mundo
